The Best Time of Year for Family Portraits
Spring – Spring is a beautiful time for a family session. Winter is over, and many clients are ready to get out and do something fun. We tend to get clients reaching out for sessions because they look at their children and realize how much they’ve grown over the winter. This can be a very busy session time for us!
Summer – While summer tends to be a busy time for families with summer vacations, sports, and just finding time to relax, it actually can be a good time for portraits because the kids aren’t in school. We don’t have to worry about the Georgia heat in our studio, where it’s always the perfect temperature.
Fall – Fall is a very popular time for family portraits for a few reasons. First, many have their Christmas card photos on their minds and need a family portrait. Second, with back-to-school in the air, many families realize how fast their children are growing up and want that family portrait to freeze time. Because of this, the studio session calendar books up quickly.
Winter – Winter is becoming a favorite time of year for families for a good reason. This is really an underrated season for family photos. Winter tends to be the season that we hunker down and find ourselves spending time in our homes. Do your walls need portrait artwork to enjoy?
